Studying Open Languages for Credit
For 2017/18 we are running a pilot scheme in which Open Languages modules can be taken as single credit-bearing modules with an undergraduate degree. This pilot scheme is currently only available to new first-year students in the Department of Chemistry. For further information, please contact the Student Support office: firstname.lastname@example.org (0151 794 3487).
Students in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences may also be able to take an additional language as a Minor (25%) within Honours Select. We offer two Minor pathways:
- 3-year Minor: standard-paced modules, no year abroad, progress only 6 stages from your starting point.
- 4-year Minor: accelerated modules for beginners, year abroad, progress to stage 12 of Language Ladder (degree level)
