    Dr Yiacoup's teaching focuses on the representation of Jews, Muslims and Native Americans in medieval and early modern Spanish literature and culture, representations of slavery in works of Spanish fiction and non-fiction, the history of the Christian Reconquest of Spain, and Spanish language and translation.
