Windows 8 - friend or foe?

Currently, as you will have seen from our Announcements, we do not recommend that you upgrade to Windows 8, or purchase a Windows 8 machine as there are a number of issues and a few compatability problems with University and other services. However for many of you, the choice of whether to run Windows 8 or not is not one you can make - Windows phones, new laptops, PCs or the Surface come with it ready installed.

We still want you to be able to access all our services so we have put together a series of webpages giving you the best advice we can at this time, including how to connect to Eduroam and other University services.
