Every year, the International Summer School hosts students from all over the world, and we always enjoy hearing about the great experience they had with us. This year, we asked some of our students to tell us more about what they enjoyed about their time with us and any advice they may have for our future ISS students.
Why did you choose to study in the UK?
I always dreamed of getting to know the UK, so when I received this opportunity from my college in Brazil I had no doubt it was the right time.
What did you like most about the University of Liverpool's International Summer School?
Besides the super attentive staff who were willing to solve any problem, and the amazing courses with very qualified teachers, I loved the university environment which allowed me to meet many people from different countries.
What is your best memory from this experience?
I believe the day of the leaving ceremony, as although I was sad to leave, I was very happy to be with all the friends I made during the program.
What advice would you give to other students who are thinking about joining?
I would say: Do not miss this opportunity, and I would still give you a tip, not only to be with people from your home countries, which can sometimes be more comfortable, but also interact with people from all over the world.
