Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
The University is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Currently, the International Summer School (ISS) is scheduled to have an in-person programme on the University of Liverpool campus.
Whilst we hope it does not come to this, we do reserve the right to cancel the on-campus ISS or cancel certain individual bookings if we believe the risk to people's health becomes unacceptable. If we cancel the on-campus ISS or your individual booking, or if for any reason you cannot attend the on-campus ISS, we will refund your fees.
The University's liability will not extend beyond this refund. We will not be liable for any associated costs of attending the ISS that you are unable to recover such as travel costs. Please ensure you have appropriate travel insurance to protect you in this case.
Your Right to Cancel
Typically, you have the right to cancel your booking with a full refund during the first 14 days after you have paid. This is called the cancellation period. However, the International Summer School has taken the decision to waive the normal 14-day cancellation period and allow a full refund if you wish to cancel your application at any time up until your suggested arrival date.
This is in ackowledgement of the greater uncertainty applicants face during the ongoing COVID-19 pglobal pandemic.
