Campus facilities

You’ll be studying on a world class campus within easy walking distance of Liverpool City centre.  Only ten minutes’ walk from the city centre, our campus offers everything you’ll need for your stay.  As a fully registered student of the University of Liverpool, you will have access to all the academic, sports, social and welfare facilities you would expect at a world class university.

  • Study facilities

If you need to prepare for classes or follow up on what you have learned, the University’s two libraries, with over 2.5 million study resources, are available to you.  Wi-Fi is available across campus and in your residences, and laptops are available for loan within the libraries.  Our teaching rooms are fully equipped and provide a comfortable and flexible space within which to learn.  With both social and quiet study areas and over 2,000 computers situated across the campus, the University is set up to provide the very best environment for you to achieve academically.

  • Sporting facilities

If you want to relax outside of class time, you’ll be able to use the University Sports Centre, with its fully equipped gym, swimming pool and regular exercise classes.  The sports hall is available for team sports or court games, there are squash courts and even a bouldering wall.

  • Welfare facilities

As well as the central University facilities which are in place to support you during your time in Liverpool, the International Summer School Central Office, in conjunction with the English Language Centre, offers a daily drop-in service to help you with problems big and small and bookable appointments with trained welfare staff if you prefer more privacy.  We hope you won’t need to, but if necessary, you can ask for a referral to specialist University welfare staff.  A wrap around welfare package means that you have the peace of mind of knowing that there is someone to go to if problems should arise.
