About

Personal Statement

I obtained a BSc in Biochemistry and have recently completed a combined MRes/PhD programme at the University of Liverpool. My PhD project utilised quantitative proteomics techniques to study the role protein phosphorylation in Drosophila development. I am currently working as a research associate in the Centre for Proteome Research, on a Cancer Research UK (CRUK) funded project evaluating NF-κB regulated signalling pathways that control tumourigenesis and the response to cancer therapy.
