Syllabus |

The module will begin by covering conceptual and theoretical standpoints that are key to student understanding and ability to see the connection between gender and crime (e.g., gender theories, intersectionality, the ‘gender gap’). It will then encourage students to apply these concepts in later weeks as they examine specific topics such as, gender and policing, gender and sentencing, gender and domestic abuse, gender and organised crime. |
