The student works under the supervision of a member of the academic staff. Meetings will be held between supervisor andstudent at regular intervals, normally once every two weeks. The student must submit by the end of semester one a complete draft of one of the dissertation chapters as well as an outline of the structure of the dissertation (Chapter headings), bibliography to date (presented in finished format) and a proposed scheme of work for semester two. This collection of written work does not form part of the final assessment, the mark for which derives solely from the dissertation, but it is a formal requirement for this module. It will be returned to the student by the dissertation supervisor, with written comments and feedback as appropriate. |
