Aims

To train students in Radiation Safety and Diagnostic Radiology.


Learning Outcomes

(L7-1) LO1 - To be able to apply integrative knowledge of the physical principles underlying radiation physics.

(L7-2) LO2 - Be able to critically discuss legislative principles and guidance applied to clinical practice.

Radioactivity, Dosimetry Measurements, Radiation Risk, Radiation Safety Regulations, Personal Radiation Monitoring, DR Instrumentation and DR Imagery Construction techniques.
