Aims |
|
The aim of this module is to give the students information about IT and computing requirements in a clinical setting. It aims to cover the fundamentals of web programming, the environment for hosting IT services and the principles behind networks and their design. The module aims to give the students this knowledge mainly through lectures and seminars. In addition there will be a practical session with the aim of giving the students experience of using typical software. Some case studies will be considered by the students with the aim of demonstrating to them how IT and computing are used in a clinical scenario. |
