Aims |

1) This module seeks to provide students with the ability to understand key theories and practices of cultural planning |

(LO1) Students will understand key theories and practices of cultural planning |

(LO2) Students will apply understanding of cultural planning to the Beatles heritage industry in Liverpool and beyond |

(LO3) Students will create and communicate narratives of Beatles history and cultural to a general public audience |

(LO5) Students will create new opportunities for community-building in local, regional, national and global contexts |

This module will be delivered via 2-hour weekly lectures, held over a 12-week period, supported by group discussions, self-directed learning and independent study. Where necessary, a blended, hybrid pattern of face-to-face and/or online learning will be adopted. |
