Aims |

Provide the opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in class to real time practices in a professional environment; Encourage students to acquire new knowledge and skills from translation/interpreting practitioners and reflect on their own practices; Enable students to critically engage with translation/interpreting-related professional standards and ethic codes and reflect on the application of social justice and inclusion principles to professional translation/interpreting practices. |

Syllabus |
|
You will attend a one-hour preparatory workshop, which introduce the aim, structure and assessment of the module and 4 hours of one-to-one supervision with a member of staff. In the supervision, you will be supported to reflect on your progress, resolve problems that you might encounter in your placement and prepare for your portfolio. |
