Aims |

To develop materials and/or undertake tasks within a practical or vocational context. To apply within that practical or vocational context professional, pedagogical, theoretical and other knowledge relevant to the development and delivery of the placement materials and/or tasks. To apply academic and/or creative and/or theoretical knowledge within a practical context, and reflect and report on the relationship between the two. To develop and identify a range of personal/ employability skills, and reflect and report on this development. |

Syllabus |
|
This module provides an opportunity for students to gain credit for experience gained in a placement with a business, public sector or voluntary organisation or cultural provider. As an alternative, and when the opportunity is available, students may also start up their own enterprise schemes. A sample schedule is reproduced below (this is indicative only, and will vary in detail and order, according to the partner and the nature of the project and/or task). 4 sessions of academic supervision will be scheduled where appropriate over the course of the module. |
Teaching and Learning Strategies |

Teaching Method 1 – Tutorial (F2F or online, as can be accommodated) The majority of teaching will be delivered face to face on campus. Online delivery will be used to complement the on campus delivery and where technology affords a better learning experience. |
