Aims |

The aims of this module is to provide students with experience of working in an industrial environment to gain new laboratory and soft skills |
Learning Outcomes |

The students will improve their general transferable skills including -effective communication -time management -ability to self-learn -taking responsibility -team-working etc. |

The students will learn new practical skills as appropriate to the placement |

Syllabus |

Whilst working for the company, the student will be expected to carry out a project as determined by the industrial supervisor. The student will -learn key lab skills and techniques as appropriate for the placement -learn key transferable skills (team-working, taking responsibilty, time management etc) as appropriate for the placement -learn new chemistry based on the requirements of the placement The skills will be learnt at the company and developed over the year''s placement |
