Description: This will consist of preparation for seminars (reading journal articles, carrying out basic analytic tasks for discussion) and work on assignments.

How this is developed: Students learn about and discuss effective team working in a lecture and seminar. For example, students are introduced to Tuckman’s Stages of Small Group Development. The module also includes collaborative team work which involves students communicating with each o ther, organising roles and responsibilities, and creating content together. Students will also be able to give each other honest feedback through peer review.

How this is developed: Lecture on modes of communication and assessment tasks which require students to collaborate with each other as well as consider ways to communicate effectively with an audience. During the module, students also communicate points of reflection in their assessment work.
