Aims

The aims of the module are to:
Critically explore and develop key concepts of entrepreneurship in relation to key readings.
Question and develop insights relating to the nature of entrepreneurship; entrepreneurial mindsets, skills or traits; the economic function of entrepreneurship; the concepts of opportunity and creativity; and contexts for entrepreneurship.
These intellectual aims are accompanied by practical aims to develop entrepreneurial ideas and to prepare a group ‘pitch’, aided by business consultants.

Description: The module is supported by business mentors and some of the lecture times will be used to facilitate meetings between groups and mentors.
