Aims

To explore the key areas of credit and lending, including the relationship between the banker and customer, business lending procedues and credit risk practices for each type of bank (retail, business and commercial);

To develop a detailed and critical knowledge and understanding of credit and lending in the banking industry;

To develop a range of banking skills, techniques and practices at a professional level.

Teaching and Learning Strategies

Teaching Method 1 - Lectures
Description: Lectures will be full days in order to cover the wide range of material relevant to this module. Lectures will be interactive and participative. Students will be required to attempt questions within the lectures and feedback on those questions will be given. Lectures will be supported by online resources.
