Aims

This module investigates the importance and impact of effective organisations and behavioural management throughout the life of a project. It aims to equip the student with the necessary understanding, tools and techniques to manage project within the company organisation and to be effective at developing, leading and managing project teams. They will therefore, be equipped to enable and support project team members to do their job effectively, in the required time, to be required quality and cost.


Learning Outcomes

(LO1) At the end of this course students will have gained an understanding of the issues involved and will be able to: Identify how the project team is to operate within the company organisation Assess the need for development of team members and put in place appropriate development plans Use tools and techniques to help with leadership, development and control of teams Manage conflict situations so that they have minimal impact on project progress Use tools and techniques to influence team working in order to optimize team performance.
