Aims |
|
The aim of this module is to investigate, in depth: The attributes of selected examples of twentieth-century architecture and their associated cultural, social and intellectual framework. To demonstrate, through building analysis, the influence of historical and theoretical concepts on the spatial, social and technological aspects of twentieth-century architecture. |

Syllabus |
|
Each week will see a two-hour lecture by a research-active historian of architecture, speaking about some period and region of architecture since 1900, worldwide. The exact contents of the module vary slightly from year to year depending on the availability of staff and their developing research. |

Teaching Method 1 - Lecture Teaching Method 2 - Assessment The majority of teaching will be delivered face to face on campus. Online delivery will be used to complement the on campus delivery and where technology affords a better learning experience. |
