Postgraduate and Continuing Education
- Lead for development of One Health Teaching Curriculum for the HORN project, including leading the inaugural HORN Masterclass in Kenya in 2019, teaching of soft skills at the 2019 summer school in Kenya, and leading and editing eLectures for:
Tier (1) Introducing One Health - currently 24 eLectures, and developing and narrating a case study eLecture on Salmonella; and
Tier (2) Generic and transferable research skills - currently 18 topics and 24 eLectures, 14 of which I developed and narrated including: career planning, cascade training, facilitation techniques, oral and poster presentation skills, critical appraisal of qualitative and quantitative research, how to develop a peer review report, grant writing, good research practice including for field methods, research reviews for evidence-based practice, development of case studies, and working with the media.
- Lead instructor on epidemiology and statistics to veterinarians and conservation scientists at the OVAG annual workshops in Jogjakata & Banda Aceh, Indonesia
- Tutor of clinicians and non-clinicians in the use of EpiData and EpiData Analysis software whilst working at the HPA
- Statistical consultancy to staff (and PhD students) whilst working at the IAH
- Led the design of and helped to teach an introduction to statistics course (using R software) to IAH staff (and PhD students)
- Invited lead author for Distance Learning MSc in ‘Sustainable Livestock Food Systems’, developing a module entitled ‘Pathogens and the Environment’ (from an Ecohealth perspective), Royal Veterinary College, London
- Supervisor of five MSc thesis students from the MSc in Veterinary Science degree, UoL, MSc in Statistics, University of Lancaster and University of Montpellier
- Lecturer on the epidemiology of TSEs for intercalating MSc Veterinary Science students at UoL

- Small group tutor of 1st year Veterinary Science (Vet) students at UoL in statistics (Veterinary Science module), UoL
