The use of mathematics in human and veterinary public health for understanding, modelling and ultimately controlling infectious diseases is a key example of inter-disciplinary science, and modelling is now a central component of any public health response to infectious diseases. I deliver on a range of courses and modules, from providing introductory material to infectious disease epidemiology and modelling epidemics, to master-level modules where students can learn current state-of-the art modelling implementation and parameterisation methodology.
