About

Personal Statement

- My clinical work is undertaken in the equine first opinion practice, providing a high quality veterinary service to equine owners of the Wirral. I am responsible for the diagnostic workup and management of patients, and have a proven competence in managing cases at both ambulatory and referral level.

- I oversee the training and assessment of final year veterinary students while on the equine practice and clinical skills rotation. Student feedback on the practice rotation is always positive, especially in regards to my teaching.

- My interests in dermatology and neoplasia have led me to undertake research into the histopathological markers for the recurrence of sarcoids. I also have dermatology related publications in InPractice and UKVet Equine. I am responsible for the teaching of the Equine Dermatology units to both undergraduate and the post-graduate levels.

- I am an active member of the IVES Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.
