    Personal Statement

    My research interests involve utilising the latest molecular-based approaches to answer questions of human infectious disease importance.

    I gained a BSc (Hons) in Zoology and Genetics from Swansea University in 2005, before undertaking a Masters in Medical Microbiology at the University of Liverpool. I subsequently undertook a PhD at Liverpool with the title “Genetic Analysis of invasive African Non-typhoidal Salmonella (NTS) from sub-Saharan Africa"
