Catherine has an MA in Medieval and Early Modern History from the University of Bristol and an MA in Digital Humanities from King's College London.

Catherine's research focuses on Medieval history, digital sciences and mappaemundi. Her thesis examines medieval symbolic constructs such as "man" and "beast" using sources like mappaemundi and bestiaries.
