Dr Norbert Schurer, Visiting Scholar
Dr Norbert Schurer is currently visiting Liverpool from the English Department at California State University, Long Beach, on the CSULB ‘Professors around the World’ scheme to explore research and teaching collaborations, particularly around various projects on the history of libraries.
Dr Schurer is collaborating with Dr Mark Towsey in the History Department. His research interests coincide with many of our specialisms in Liverpool, including 18th-century culture and literature, book history, and the representation of India.
