Former Liverpool student returns to teaching role

The Department of History is delighted to welcome back Samantha Caslin-Bell, who did her BA with us in History and Sociology, then went to Manchester for her MA and PhD, funded by an ESRC 1+3 award. Her PhD project was on "'Gateway to Adventure': Women, Urban Space and Moral Purity in Liverpool, c. 1908-1957'".

Samantha completed her PhD in 2013 and has a recent publication in History and Policy (2014) and a forthcoming article in Women's History Review (2015). Sam will be covering the teaching of Dr Laura Balderstone who is currently on maternity leave.
