Erasmus Staff Exchange with Charles University, Prague
The History Department is delighted to welcome Dr. Michal Pullmann, Associate Professor and Director of the Institute of Economic and Social History at the Charles University in Prague, who is visiting from 28 April to 2 May 2014. As well as teaching on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in contemporary European history, Dr. Pullmann will deliver a paper on ‘Critiques of Violence in Late Communist Czechoslovakia’ at 1pm on Friday 2 May, during a workshop on ‘The Socialist Seventies’.
In May, Dr. Celia Donert will travel to Prague for the reciprocal staff exchange at Charles University.
