The ESRC NWSSDTP and AHRC funding competitions now open

The ESRC NWSSDTP (North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership) and AHRC NWCDTP (North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership) funding competitions are now open.  Both the ESRC and the AHRC offer the opportunity to apply for for 1&3 awards (MA and PhD) and &3 awards (PhD).  The ESRC supports projects in the area of economic and/or social history, and the AHRC welcomes applications for funding to cover broader humanities topics.

Applications to study at the University of Liverpool must be received by 15th January (those applying for the 1&3 need to apply for both the MA AND PhD courses).   ESRC NWSSDTP applications for funding must be submitted (to the University of Liverpool) by 5th February and AHRC NWCDTP applications (to the University of Liverpool) by 9th February.
