Stephen Crone

Administrator (on sabbatical until October 2022)



As co-administrator, Stephen looks after the day-to-day running of the Institute, including digital content and providing administrative support to the team. Prior to joining the institute in 2019, Stephen worked as a research assistant – first for Democratic Audit and later for the Institute of Cultural Capital. Publications co-authored by Stephen during this period include a comprehensive assessment of UK democracy (2012) funded by the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust; an AHRC funded review of the role of arts and culture in processes of urban regeneration (2015); and an ESRC funded scoping review on ‘Ways of Being in a Digital Age’ (2017).
