Consultation for new Heritage and Culture Strategy
Developed through a Task and Finish Group with oversight from the University’s Heritage, Arts and Culture Committee, the new Heritage and Culture Strategy extends beyond the care of collections, particularly through the inclusion of activity related to the Heritage Research Theme.
It also seeks to link the institution’s heritage and culture related activities and collections directly to the University’s overarching Strategy 2026.
The further promotion of public as well as member engagement is also a key driver of the Strategy.
The Strategy will be achieved through four related strands of activity:
- Public Engagement;
- Research;
- Education;
- University Environment and Life.
