This course has been specially created for potential students who have not studied for some time and are seeking a career change. We hope to recruit students who have the ambition and drive to undertake one of our undergraduate courses but don’t currently have the required academic profile needed to enrol.

If this sounds like you, don’t worry, we have a dedicated team of academic professionals who will equip you with the tools, knowledge and experience to ensure that you’ll be ready for your first year of undergraduate study – whenever that may be.

As well as preparing you for your undergraduate journey, we're confident that our foundation programme will also allow you to develop key skills that will serve you in your professional life too. We will help you improve your ability to solve problems under pressure, teach you research and information analysis techniques and promote self-directed learning abilities.

Potential students seeking entry to MedicineDentistry or Veterinary Science will study at Carmel College, St Helens. Students seeking entry to Diagnostic RadiographyNursingOccupational TherapyOrthopticsPhysiotherapy or Therapeutic Radiography and Oncology will study at The Sixth Form College, Birkenhead.
