With the advancement of science of the last decades we can generate very large datasets. From electronic clinical records to omics technologies, there has been explosion on data complexity that comes with a lot of potential to have a direct impact on lives. Translating that data complexity into meaningful findings requires a highly specialised level of computing and statistical expertise.
The Computational Biology Facility aims to remove the informatics and data analytics bottlenecks in life sciences and medical research and to train the community on best practice experimental design, analytics, and data handling. Whether you are looking to make the most of your data, improve a grant application or access training in a particular data analytics area we are here to help.
