COVID-19 measures

The University of Liverpool is committed to ensuring that all visitors to our campus continue to feel comfortable and safe.

We’re asking all visitors to please stay at home if you’re unwell. This especially applies if you have a high temperature (either on its own or with any other symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as COVID-19) or you do not feel well enough to carry out normal activities.

In line with Liverpool Health Protection advice, we continue to recommend that face coverings are worn in any enclosed, congested area. Outside of these areas, we respect your personal choice to wear or not wear a face-covering on campus.

We also strongly recommend you get vaccinated for COVID-19 before coming onto campus or to a University-run event, as this is the best way to protect against serious illness.

How we are keeping campus safe

We will:

  • Continue to maintain our enhanced cleaning regime across all buildings
  • Encourage everybody in our community to maintain good personal hygiene to prevent the spread of infection
  • Encourage everybody in our community to respect people’s personal space whilst on campus
  • Continue to work closely with our local public health teams
