Mr Norman Molyneux

Norman qualified as an accountant in industry and worked in numerous senior financial roles before entering the world of smaller company finance in 2000, as a founder of Acceleris Capital.  He completed research as a mature student that led to a keen interest in helping entrepreneurs develop successful companies.  During this time Acceleris has helped start over 50 businesses with game-changing ideas and technologies.

He enjoys working with and advising entrepreneurs and growth companies and continues to work to improve the flow of early stage capital so vital to success at all stages of a company’s evolution.

He is excited by the growth in entrepreneurial activity in the UK and believes that the Higher Education sector provides an excellent grounding for preparing the business leaders of the future. The capital markets in the UK continue to be attracted to added-value technologies, but the UK has to compete on the world stage for both innovation and capital allocation. Investment in the intellectual capital in the UK is a key mechanism for improving economic growth.

In addition to his seat on the Advisory Board of the University of Liverpool Management School, Norman is a member of the Regional Advisory Group of the London Stock Exchange.

Outside the office, Norman supports his local rugby league team (Wigan), is a keen cyclist and enjoys travel.
