COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 has caused lots of disruption to Study Abroad activities, but the Team is still working hard to allow as much mobility as possible to go ahead. You can see all the most important COVID-19 updates below.

Contacting the Team

The Team are now hybrid working and you can contact us by phone, email and in-person. See the Contact Us page for more details.

Applications

Semester/Year exchange and study abroad

We welcomed over 100 inbound students to campus in September 2021 and are looking forward to welcoming more studnets in Semester 2!

Applications for exchange and study abroad students starting January 2022 are now open. At this time, we're planning to accept students as usual for the next semester, although we obviosuly can't guarantee at the moment whether there will be additional restrictions in place in the UK.

If you're from an exchange partner, speak to your International Office and if you're a Visiting Study Abroad student, find out more information here.

Summer Programmes

We're excited to that both our Summer Research Programme and International Summer School will be going ahead in summer 2022. There are in-person and virtual opportunities available, so you can take part regardless of where you're based in the world and regardless of any potential restrictions on the UK at the time.

Documentation

We now have access to scanners or printers on an intermittent basis. If you need a document signed, please try and print it yourself in the first instance, but we can assist where neccesary.

We are able to issue PDF transcripts to exchange students who have returned home and in exceptional circumstances, we can also mail physical copies.

Keeping yourself informed

In order to help us help you, please ensure that you carefully read everything that we send you before reaching out with questions and make sure to read any information from your home university too. It's also important to share any updates from the Team with your parents and supporters, so that they are kept informed.

Whilst this is still a challenging time for everyone, we will work together to ensure as many mobilities as possible can safely go ahead.
