Research access
The Garstang Research Centre is open to all researchers, providing opportunities to undertake research both on-site and online
Researchers can:
- Conduct on-site heritage science research using Garstang Museum collections
- Access enhanced facilities for object handling, storage and analysis
- Undertake remote or virtual consultation, supported by digital tools and visualisation technology
- Engage with distributed archaeological collections data through the developing Garstang Archaeology Portal (GAP).
The Centre supports both individual research projects and collaborative work, strengthening links between collections, specialist equipment and academic expertise.
Access is by appointment only.
