DESCRIPTION:A conversation with Gary Gates,  his career journey from research in Nuclear Industry to leading a business division in a FTSE 100  company.Dr Gary Gates Dr Gary Gates is Senior Vice President, Global Business (Pearson VUE) & UK Higher Education. Gary joined Pearson in 2011 to lead the Pearson VUE business outside North America and in January 2019, he extended his responsibilities at Pearson by taking on the leadership of their UK Higher Education business. Prior to joining Pearson, he was a company director of ITIS Holdings plc and held management positions with British Nuclear Fuels Plc and British Energy. Gary received his PhD in Computational Physics from the University of Liverpool and graduated with honours from the University of York with a BSc in Theoretical Physics.
