SUMMARY:Ada Lovelace Day 2019 - Celebrating Ada's work, inspiration and legacy
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday 8th October 2019 from 3-7pm, the University of Liverpool is holding an interdisciplinary event to celebrate colloaboration between the sciences and the arts, in honour of Ada Lovelace Day. This drop-in event will include a coding session in Python provided by HiPy, a musical performance by student musicians and members of the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra of composer Emily Howard's 'Ada Sketches', an accompanying interview with Emily herself, and a panel discussion centered around collaboration in research in the sciences and arts.
