DESCRIPTION:Baroque flautist Nancy Hadden and lutenist-guittarist Taro Takeuchi will present a programme of music from 18th century London, featuring works by Balicourt (in a new edition by Emeritus Professor Michael Talbot) Handel, Loeillet, and Oswald.Nancy and Taro are both internationally recognized specialists on their instruments, performing and recording world-wide. Nancy taught at the Guildhall School of Music for 20 years. She has published numerous articles on Renaissance and baroque flutes. Taro teaches frequent workshops in Europe and Japan.His article on the English guittar is forthcoming in Early Music.
