DESCRIPTION:Kevin Hyland was appointed as the UK’s first Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner in 2014, a role established under the landmark Modern Slavery Bill. As former head of the Metropolitan Police’s Human Trafficking Unit, Kevin has more than 30 years’ experience in investigating organised crime. He has worked closely with slavery victims to secure a number of key prosecutions of perpetrators.
