DESCRIPTION:Part of the Yoko Ono Lennon Lunchtime Concert SeriesMahan Esfahani has redefined the harpsichord’s role in classical music through bold programming, new commissions, and international performances.He’s the first and only harpsichordist named a BBC New Generation Artist and was the youngest recipient to receive the Wigmore Medal in 2022.Esfahani has appeared at major venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House and Wigmore Hall, and has collaborated with top orchestras and conductors.
