DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to kickstart your journey into Ireland’s rich linguistic heritage.This session will introduce you to the Irish language, explain a little bit about its origins and history, and provide you with a few words and phrases ‘as Gaeilge’ (in Irish). No previous knowledge of the Irish language is required.The session will be facilitated by Dr Eoghan Ahern, Lecturer at the Institute of Irish Studies.This event is part of the 2025 Liverpool Irish Festival, which runs from 16-26 October.
