By delving into the history of these words, we uncover the story of Ireland, from the prehistoric past through to the coming of the Vikings, Normans and English. This special Irish Day event will feature talks by the authors of A History of Ireland in 100 Words.This event is organised in conjunction with the Institute of Irish Studies, University of Liverpool, and supported by An Roinn Turasóireachta, Cultúir, Ealaíon, Gaeltachta, Spóirt agus na Meán /  The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
