SUMMARY:University of Liverpool Symphony Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:The University of Liverpool Symphony Orchestra is now a regular fixture in The Tung Auditorium artistic programme.This full-sized ensemble draws its players from student members of the Liverpool University Music Society, more affectionately known as LUMS, which is a student led organisation dedicated to providing an enriching musical experience for their large group of students from across the University.The orchestra are fortunate to be conducted by Gethyn Jones, cellist with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, who will direct another programme of great works from the symphonic canon.
