DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce the next speaker in our Liverpool Leaders series will be Paul Broadhurst (BEng Hons Electronic Engineering 1981). Paul is currently Founder and CEO of telecommunications giant Technetix.Paul is a passionate entrepreneur with an eye for value, growth and innovation. Paul led Technetix through its growth on the roll out of broadband cable networks and helped the company to firmly establish itself at the centre of residential broadband technology innovation. Technetix, with twenty offices worldwide, operates all across Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific. Technetix, with exports of greater than 80% of its revenue, has expanded both organically and by international acquisitions with  over the last fifteen years. The company has forecast revenue of £130m in 2023 exporting to 70 countries. Before founding Technetix, Paul had positions at management consultants PA Consulting, Continental Microwave and EMI Central Research Labs. Paul has a BEng degree in Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Microwave and Optical Engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (USA) and a Fellow of the SCTE.Join us for what promises to be a fascinating insight into Paul's career since he graduated in 1981 and how he went about founding a thriving, global business.
