DESCRIPTION:AstraZeneca Carbon Zero 2025 Projects for The School of Engineering BEng Final Year Only Mechanical and Aerospace Students.Starting Wednesday 4th October through to 22nd November (8 weeks, Wednesday afternoons)Are you a School of Engineering BEng Mechanical or Aero student about to enter your final year in September?  If so, we have an opportunity for you!  We are offering you the chance to take part in a project with AstraZeneca, exploring how the company can reach Carbon Zero by 2025.  The project will run over 8 weeks and will provide an insight into AstraZeneca's Biologics Facility in Speke, Liverpool.  Get involved to find out about AstraZeneca's approach to achieving Carbon Zero 2025.  The challenge is all about developing an approach to achieving the companies goals and maximising energy efficiency across the plant or equipment on the site.  You will work with Engineers from the organisation in project groups and a site visit will be included. There will be a prize for the winning team idea chosen by AstraZeneca.This will be our second year of running this project which was very well received by students and AstraZeneca staff.  One of the students on the project last year secured a graduate role with the company and found the application much easier due to their project experience.
