Come and join us for an interactive musical experience for all ages, as Prokofiev’s classic symphonic fairy tale, Peter and the Wolf, is performed in costume and from memory.The concert also includes an animated film of David Litchfield’s award-winning book, The Bear and the Piano, with narration recorded by Joanna Lumley and original music by Daniel Whibley played live.With musicians drawn from their award-winning The Snowman and Wallace & Gromit shows, Carrot Productions is delighted to present their brand new programme of family-friendly music for wind quintet and piano.To make the adventure extra special, come along early to enjoy free beastly craft activities from 12.30pm, then stay afterwards to meet the musicians and see their costumes and instruments up-close.Dressing up is positively encouraged, and there is even a prize for the best costume! Bears, cats, wolves, ducks, birds, or whatever beast you fancy. It’s going to be Grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!Free craft activities will happen in the cafe from 12.30pm. The performance will start at 1.30pm and last approximately 1 hour.
