DESCRIPTION:11 February 2023 is the 8th International Day of Women and Girls in Science which was established by United Nations to “promote the full and equal participation of women and girls in education, training, employment and decision-making processes in the sciences, eliminate all discrimination against women, including in the field of education and employment.” This year’s theme Innovate. Demonstrate. Elevate. Advance. Sustain. (I.D.E.A.S.) focuses on the role of Women and Girls and Science in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Please join us for this event showcasing the fantastic contribution of some of the School of Physical Sciences female researchers to SDG 7.
