Dr Rebecca Soe (Jensen) is a pharmacology and pharmacogenomics researcher at the University of Liverpool, with over seven years’ experience in biomedical research. Her research focuses on understanding the genetic determinants of inter-individual variability in drug response, with interests in pharmacogenomic variation, drug efficacy, safety, and toxicity. Her work encompasses the investigation of genetic variation and its contribution to variability in pharmacological response, with the aim of supporting the translation of pharmacogenomic evidence into clinical practice. Rebecca is also involved in pharmacogenomics implementation and regulatory science through the Centre of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation in Pharmacogenomics (CERSI-PGx), contributing to research and education that support the integration of pharmacogenomics into medicines development and personalised healthcare.
